Little words.
Forever memories.
Little Jelly Chatter is a first words memory app for parents who want to save their child’s earliest words and stories. From the first “Mama” to a funny name for the dog, keep those tiny voices and big moments close.

How the first words memory app works.
Little Jelly Chatter helps parents save sweet moments, not score their child’s speech. First, add a profile. Next, save a word or sound. Then build a book you can look back on.
Add your little one.
Create a child profile with a name, birthday, and photo or friendly avatar. That way, each child has their own word book.
Save the way they said it.
Write their word or sound, what it meant, when and where it happened, and the story behind it. You can also add a photo or short voice clip.
Build a book of little moments.
Browse their words, celebrate milestone badges, and open a keepsake word book to print or save as a PDF. For extra peace of mind, export a full backup that includes recordings.
Save first words and the stories behind them.
“Baa” today. A family story tomorrow. Little Jelly Chatter lets you keep what your child said and what they meant. As a result, a simple list of words becomes a collection of moments worth revisiting.
Photos and voice clips bring those moments back. Meanwhile, your notes help you recall why everyone laughed.

At home · A first-word moment
Pointed to the red ball, said “baa,” and gave us the biggest grin.
Example content to show the idea. Your child’s memories make it yours.
A friendly face for every first-word book.
Choose a colorful jelly avatar or use your own profile photo. Plus, you can switch between children without mixing their memories.

Precious first-word memories deserve a backup.
The current app stores memories in your browser on your device. Therefore, clearing browser data or losing the device can mean losing those memories. Export a full backup often and keep the file somewhere safe. Remember, a printed word book does not include playable audio.
First words memory app questions.
Is this a learning or speech assessment app?
Little Jelly Chatter is a first-word memory keeper. It captures your child’s words and moments; however, it does not assess speech or diagnose developmental concerns. For general information about language milestones, see the CDC developmental milestones.
Where does the app save our memories?
The current version saves child profiles, words, notes, photos, and voice clips in local browser storage on the device you use. It does not provide an account or automatic cloud synchronization. Also, your browser’s available storage limits how much you can keep.
How do voice clips and photos work?
You can attach a photo or saved audio file. Recording a voice clip uses the microphone with your permission and requires a compatible browser. Camera access depends on your browser and device. However, this product page itself does not request camera or microphone access.
Can I move memories to another device?
First, export a full backup and keep it safely. Then restore it in the app on the other device. Since restoring replaces the app’s existing children and memories, back up the destination device first. The printable word book is a separate keepsake, not a full backup.
Privacy and support
The current app source stores memories locally and does not contain a service that uploads them to us. However, the website and hosted images involve normal web requests and are covered by the Tradecraft Jelly website privacy policy. If you choose to share memory text or store a backup with another service, that service handles the information you give it. For help, visit Support.
