QR Jelly Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
QR Jelly is a simple QR-code maker from Tradecraft Jelly, operated by Westridge Holdings and Management LLC. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the current QR Jelly web app.
The QR maker processes the information you enter on your device. Its current code does not send your QR contents to us or to an AI service. Hosting and website access can still involve technical information, as explained below.
Information you enter
You choose what to include in a QR code. This may be a website address, Wi-Fi network name and password, contact name, phone number, email address, email subject or message, text message, or plain text.
QR Jelly uses that information in your browser to create a preview and a downloadable PNG. Color choices, export size, and an optional download name are also handled in your browser.
The current QR maker does not upload these entries, maintain a server-side history of your codes, or use your entries for AI processing. It does not include advertising or analytics tools in its own application code.
Downloads and local storage
The QR maker keeps the current form and preview in the open page. It does not deliberately save your entries in cookies or browser local storage. Your browser may separately retain information through autofill, page restoration, caching, or other browser features.
When you download a PNG, it is saved wherever your device or browser places downloads. That file remains until you delete it. Your device, backup service, or cloud storage may keep additional copies according to your settings.
We do not have a server-side copy of your QR contents to retrieve or delete. You control the files you download and share.
Sharing a QR code shares its contents
QR codes are not encrypted or password-protected by QR Jelly. Anyone who obtains a code may be able to scan or decode the information inside it, including contact details, messages, and Wi-Fi credentials.
A Wi-Fi QR code includes the network credentials. Anyone with the code can read those details. Only share information you are comfortable making available to the people who receive it.
QR Jelly creates static codes. Downloaded codes cannot be changed or remotely disabled through QR Jelly. To change the encoded information, create a new code. A website owner may separately change the content at a website address.
Hosting and access information
QR Jelly is hosted through ChatGPT Sites. The hosting and access services may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, request times, and information needed for security or sign-in. Their services may also use cookies or similar technologies. This is separate from the QR maker’s handling of the information you type into its form.
The QR maker does not create a separate QR Jelly account or require an API key. Access to the hosted Site may require an authorized ChatGPT account, depending on its access settings.
For OpenAI’s handling of platform information, including retention and privacy controls, see the OpenAI Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Other websites and services
Opening a website linked by a QR code takes you to another destination. That destination has its own privacy practices. QR Jelly does not host the restaurant menus, booking pages, or other destinations you link to.
When a code opens your email, phone, or messaging app, that app handles any action you choose to take under its own settings and policies.
This policy describes the QR Jelly web app. The Tradecraft Jelly marketing website and its hosting services may have different practices; statements about browser-only QR generation do not describe all activity on that website.
Your choices
You can clear the form, close the page, delete downloaded files, and manage browser storage, autofill, cookies, and backups through your device settings. Deleting your own copy does not remove copies that other people have received.
For platform account information or technical data handled by OpenAI, use the privacy controls and contact options in OpenAI’s policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when QR Jelly’s features or information-handling practices change. The date at the top shows when this policy was last updated.
