Data availability
Rankings are a dated snapshot of public Slickcharts market-cap tables, matched to published membership lists. They are maintained locally, not live rankings. Each automatic group draws up to eight unique selections strictly from its 20 largest eligible companies by snapshot market capitalization. Dow ranks its published constituents by capitalization. Overlap can reduce the selection count.
Large-Cap Movers samples the top 20 companies in the combined maintained S&P/NASDAQ large-cap universe with the same Twelve Data price budget. Only provider quotes from the current trading day, at most 15 minutes old, with an absolute daily change of at least 3% qualify. It is a sampled list, not a market-wide ranking. Previous verified selections stay visible while replacements load.
