Free QR Code Generator for Seven Everyday Uses

Start with one simple QR code maker. Then choose from seven everyday ways to share information.

01

Website links

For example, link to your website, restaurant menu, booking page, or another page that already has a URL.

02

Wi-Fi networks

Share a network name, security type, and password. That way, guests can scan the code to get the details.

03

Contact cards

Share your name and, if you like, add a phone number and email address.

04

Email

Start an email to your address. You can also add a subject and message.

05

Phone calls

Add your phone number so people can scan the code and open it on their phone.

06

Text messages

Add a phone number. Then, if needed, include a message to start the text.

07

Plain text

Share a little note, a few steps, or another short message. No link is needed.

QR Jelly makes the code, but it does not host menus, booking pages, or other websites. Also, what opens after scanning depends on the phone and its apps.

Example: tradecraftjelly.com

Free QR Code Generator FAQs

Do I need an account or an API key?

The QR maker runs in your browser without AI, an API key, or an app account. However, the current hosted preview has restricted access, so opening it may require an authorized ChatGPT sign-in.

Where does my information go?

The QR generator processes the details you enter in your browser. However, your downloaded QR image also contains those details, so share it with care.

Can I change a QR code after downloading it?

You cannot change the information inside a downloaded image. Instead, enter the new details and make another code. However, a website-link code can still point to the same URL when you update the page there.

Can I make a code for my restaurant menu?

Yes, if your menu already has a website address. First, choose Website link and paste its URL. However, QR Jelly does not upload or host the menu.

What should I know about Wi-Fi codes?

Anyone with the code can read the network details, including the password. Therefore, use a guest network for visitors. QR Jelly supports personal WPA/WPA2/WPA3, WEP, and networks without passwords. However, it does not support Enterprise Wi-Fi.

Is QR Jelly an iPhone or Android app?

QR Jelly is a web app that you open in a browser. It is not currently a native iOS or Android app.
